Manasi Scott

Manasi Scott is the Net Zero Development Lead for Oxy’s Permian EOR business. Manasi joined Oxy in 2022 as a CCS/CCUS Development Project Engineer, focused on field development planning and optimization, including transition to anthropogenic CO2 sources and Class VI permitting/project engineering for Oxy’s first CCS site in Permian. 

Prior to Oxy, Manasi worked at bp for 18 years in a variety of production engineering and operations leadership roles in the San Juan Basin in NM/CO, East Texas, Deepwater Gulf of Mexico, and North Sea Norway. She also worked as a subject matter expert for waterflooding and reservoir management in deepwater unconsolidated sand reservoirs globally, as well as a brief stint in Finance to improve upstream cost management to top tier performance. 

Manasi has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University and is a licensed PE in Texas. She lives in Houston with her husband Alec and two young children.
